Barack Hussein Obama and his family will finally be evicted from the White House at the end of this year, and after months of speculation, they have finally revealed where they are headed next.
According to Daily Mail, the Obamas have decided to move to the ritzy area of Kalorama, Washington DC at the end of 2016, an area known for it’s manicured gardens and marble fountains. The streets of this neighborhood are lined with colonial homes, many of which belong to ambassadors and statesman.
The Obamas reportedly considered moving to Embassy Row, where the Clintons have maintained a $5.6 million second home since Bill left office in 2001. However, the Obamas instead decided to rent a home in Kalorama since it is closer to Sidwell Friends School, where their daughter Sasha is a student. When she finishes school in two years, the Obamas will likely move again to another city entirely.
Our thoughts are with the people of Kalorama right now. If Obama was moving to my street, I would want to move immediately!
