The nation of Jordan was rocked by a terrorist attack on Monday when five people were shot dead in the GID’s office in the Palestinian refugee camp of Baqaa at 7:00 A.M.
According to Western Journalism, authorities later arrested a suspect who claimed to have carried out the attack. Mohammad Momani, a spokesman for the Minister for Media Affairs, told the press that “preliminary information indicates that the attack was a lone-wolf incident and that investigations were still ongoing.”
The suspect was reportedly apprehended at a mosque in the capital of Amman. It has not yet been revealed what terrorist group the attacker belonged to.
