Police have not yet found a motive or ascertained whether or not the shooters took any money.

“We don’t know if there was an exchange of gunfire or not. These guys came in and started shooting. No one reports they shot back,” said Cpl. Marcus Hines. “We didn’t find a gambling shack and money all over the place. It wasn’t that kind of scene. We found people shot and suspects gone.”

LaGwen Hill, 63, told the Shreveport Times that she had just gone to bed when she heard the gunshots.

“It just kept going on,” she said. “I thought it was fireworks at first.”
