With Donald Trump officially clinching the GOP presidential nomination this week, the focus has shifted to speculating about who his running mate will be.
Theories that Trump would pick a female Vice President briefly died down when Convention manager Paul Manafort recently said that choosing a woman would be viewed as “pandering.” However, Trump reignited rumors that he planned to choose a female running mate while speaking to reporters on Thursday.
“I fully expect that we will have many women involved,” Trump said, according to US Blasting News. “I’ve had it with the campaign but we’re going to have many women involved. I think you’re going to see that.”
Trump then defended Manafort’s comments, saying the manager was simply “misguided.”
After seeing Trump’s latest comments, experts once again predicted that he would name former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his Vice President. She has been an outspoken supporter of his for quite some time now, and her devoted fanbase may be enough to hand him the general election.

Palin herself has refused to say she would NOT become Trump’s Vice President if she’s asked to, leading many to theorize that she is currently in negotiations with The Donald.
