Hillary Clinton prides herself on being the frontrunner in the presidential race, but what just happened to her husband shows she isn’t nearly as popular as she thinks she is.
According to Talking Points Memo, Bill Clinton was booed during a campaign stop in Logan, West Virginia ahead of the state’s May 10 presidential primary. Supporters of Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump gathered outside of the school Bill was speaking at on Sunday to let their feelings for him and Hillary be known.
Logan officials told U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin in an email that the Clintons “are simply not welcome in our town.”
Hillary is especially unpopular in West Virginia due to her policies that would put coal miners and companies out of business. Though Hillary has claimed that she’s committed to coalfield communities, nobody is buying that.
