The military stalemate between the North Korea and the South Korea has been in place for over seventy years, but it now seems to be coming to an end. However, it has been gradually replaced by an even bigger rivalry between the USA and North Korea. With the escalating nature in which threats are taking shape between Pyongyang and Washington, it seems an all-out war might be looming.
Notably, if North Korea attacks the South, it will be considered an act of aggression against the US. This is because, the US has a sizable reserve of American troops in Japan and South Korea, and any attacks would be considered as a destruction of US life and property. Considering that a peace treaty between North and South Korea was never signed, the countries are still technically at war with each other.
