Hillary Clinton got some very good news on Tuesday when the FBI announced that they would not be charging her for her use of a personal email server during her time as Secretary of State. However, hours later, things took a turn for the worse for Clinton when she was given an icy reception while speaking to a Labor Union about charter schools.
According to Western Journalism, Clinton was booed when she tried to speak about the needed dialogue between charter and public schools.
“When schools get it right, whether they are traditional public schools or public charter schools, let’s figure out what’s working … and share it with schools across America,” Clinton said, causing several teachers to voice their disapproval.
Clinton desperately tried to win back her audience by drawing a distinction between the public charters she supports and charter schools that exist for profit, but this didn’t help matters much.
“We’ve got no time for all these education wars, where people on the outside try to foist for-profit schools on our kids,” she said. “We will never stand for that. That is not acceptable.”
Nice try, Hills! It looks like Trump may win this thing after all…
