There’s nothing Michelle Obama loves more than attention. The first lady is willing to do whatever it takes to make people pay attention to her, even if she has to shamelessly use her daughters to do it.
In the latest issue of Seventeen magazine, Michelle spoke out about the college advice she’s given to her daughters Sasha and Malia, who was applying to schools this year.
“The one thing I’ve been telling my daughters is that I don’t want them to choose a name,” Michelle said, according to People. “I don’t want them to think, ‘Oh I should go to these top schools.’ We live in a country where there are thousands of amazing universities. So, the question is: What’s going to work for you?”
Of course, this is easy for Michelle to say, since she attended the ritzy Ivy league schools of Princeton and Harvard. When she was in high school, even her teachers thought she was too dumb to get into a decent school.
“When it was time for me to apply to colleges there were some counselors who said, ‘Maybe, with Princeton, you’re reaching a little high,’ ” Michelle recalled. “And I thought, ‘You really don’t think I can do it?’ ”
“But here’s what I did: I decided to ignore the doubters,” she continued. “I plunged ahead and I got in. I went on to Harvard Law School and every step of the way I used those doubting voices as motivation.”
Frankly, we are sick and tired of Michelle Obama running her mouth. SHARE this story if you want her OUT of the White House!
