Even though he has had arguably one of the worst presidencies in history, Barack Hussein Obama rarely admits any kind of fault in himself. That’s why it came as a huge surprise when he spoke out this weekend to reveal what he believes is the worst mistake of his presidency.
According to CNN, Obama told Fox News that the worst mistake of his presidency was neglecting to plan for the aftermath of the 2011 toppling of Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi.
“Probably failing to plan for the day after what I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya,” he said in a Fox News interview that aired Sunday.
This marks the second time in recent weeks that Obama talked about Libya and the NATO-led intervention that led to Gadhafi’s death. In an article published last month in The Atlantic, Obama told author Jeffrey Goldberg that British Prime Minister David Cameron became “distracted by a range of other things” after the operation.
Though Obama believes the intervention went as well as it could, he said he views Libya today as a “mess.” The article says he privately calls Libya a “sh*t show.”
Personally, we find it difficult to pick just one mistake out of the numerous flaws in Obama’s presidency. Perhaps his worst mistake is dividing our country by race more than it’s ever been divided before, or letting millions of illegals and Muslim “refugees” into our nation. Regardless of his biggest mistake, Obama has made far to many mistakes while in office, and it’s time for him to leave. SHARE this story if you think Obama should be impeached!
