A May 18 deposition released Thursday by Judicial Watch is making headlines this week as it reveals Lewis A. Lukens, a veteran 27-year foreign service officer at the State Department, drop a series of bombshells about Hillary Clinton that will likely come back to haunt her.
According to The Political Insider, Lukens admitted to investigators that Clinton, “does not know how to use a computer to do emails,” and that her personal computer does not have password protection. Lukens cited a conversation he had with Clinton Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, in which he wrote, “She says problem (sic) is HRC does not know how to use a computer to do emails — only Blackberry.”
HRC is an abbreviation of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Judicial Watch attorney Michael Bekesha then asked Lukens if State Department policy banned the use of personal cell phones in the Secretary of State’s official office suite, which is one of the most tightly secured facilities in government.
“So the crux of the issue was that BlackBerrys and iPhones are not allowed in the Secretary’s office suite, so the question was, how is the Secretary going to be able to check her emails if she’s not able to have the Blackberry at her desk with her,” Lukens responded, according to the Daily Caller.
Lukens then discussed Clinton’s personal computer.
“She wouldn’t have had a password.”
A clearly shocked Bekesha asked, “So the computer would have just been open and be able to use without going through any security features?”
“Correct,” Lukens replied.
