Donald Trump was devastated on Tuesday night when he lost the Wisconsin primary to Ted Cruz, but he got some much-needed good news from his home state today.
According to Daily Mail, Trump is set to win the New York primary on April 19 by a landslide with over half of the Republican votes. If the primary were held today, Trump would reportedly win with 52% of the support of Republican voters.
Ohio Governor John Kasich is surprisingly in second place in New York at the moment with 25% of the vote. In a distant third place is Wisconsin winner and Texas Senator Ted Cruz with 17%.
After the sobering loss to Cruz in Wisconsin, many naysayers said Trump’s days in the race were numbered. This poll proves that last night was only a hookup, and that Trump is still on track to get the nomination!
