Hours after Donald Trump accused her husband of rape, Hillary Clinton was confronted with the allegations to her face. Her response left millions of Americans feeling stunned.
According to Western Journalism, Hillary declined to defend her husband’s honor when she was asked about the sexual assaults he allegedly committed. Instead, she said Trump is “fishing” for a fight and trying to bring her down to his “level.”
“Do you ever [feel] compelled to defend your honor, the honor of your husband?” asked CNN’s Chris Cuomo at the 3:12 mark in the video below.
“No, not at all,” Clinton responded. “I know that that’s exactly what he is fishing for. I’m not going to be responding.”
This came after Trump listed several of the sexual assault allegations against Bill Clinton during an interview with Sean Hannity on Wednesday.
“What about what Clintons (have) done… are they going to interview Juanita Broaddrick? Are they gonna interview Paula Jones? Are they gonna interview Kathleen Willey?” asked Hannity.
“In one case it’s about exposure, in another case it’s about groping and fondling and touching against a woman’s will,” said Hannity, leading the discussion.
Trump then interjected by saying “and rape,” to which Hannity agreed, “and rape.”
It’s interesting that Hillary refused to stand up for her husband about these allegations. Clearly, she knows they are true, and doesn’t want to be caught in yet another lie.
